Volunteer Event Lead — IWF Online Speaker Program
Remote · Unpaid volunteer role

International Women’s Federation (IWF) is seeking someone with hands-on event or project coordination experience to take the lead in organizing an online speaker event on women’s leadership, education or career development.

You would:
• Turn an agreed event brief into a practical timeline and task plan.
• Coordinate contributors, follow up on progress and give useful feedback.
• Review speaker research, interview questions and event materials.
• Organize a rehearsal, coordinate event delivery and prepare a short handover.

The initial scope is one event cycle, with an estimated 4–6 hours a week over 4–6 weeks. Dates and responsibilities will be agreed before starting.

We welcome relevant experience from professional, community or student-led projects. What matters is what you personally organized, how you worked with others and how you handled problems.

This role covers planning and internal coordination within an agreed brief. Speaker outreach, publication and commitments on IWF’s behalf require separate prior authorization. The role does not authorize contracts or spending.

Interested? Email iwfglobaloffice@gmail.com with the subject “Volunteer Event Lead”. Please include:
• One relevant project, your specific responsibilities and a problem you resolved.
• Your weekly availability, time zone and working languages.
• An optional existing public or redacted work sample. Please do not send confidential material or other people’s personal data.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to discuss their experience and the project scope. This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity.
